The Legend of Zelda: A Mod to the Past

Local friend and video game nerd Richard Clinton (aka Thorkon, aka 8-Bit-Builder) is known for his original 8-bit-themed computer mods and cases. He's already been featured in Kotaku, Nintendo Power, Maximum PC, and CPU magazine with builds such as his Black Mage and Super Mushroom. For this mod he's decided to step it up 8-bits, and both being local video game artists he asked me to supply original 16-bit music for the video. So here it, 5:20 of original Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time instruments doing D&B remixes of some of my favorite themes from my favorite series, set to the making of the world's very first 3-D Link home computer.

A free download of the medley can be found here: http://sleepytimejesse.bandcamp.com/

EarthBound SoundFont + Development Log

Currently working on an EarthBound soundfont/sample pack.

This is something which has never been done before, and for of a few simple reasons:
1. The most audio samples in any SNES game, at least in my experience.
2. Compiling, identifying, setting loop points, tuning, organizing and testing every sample is very, very time consuming. This is a mind-numbing and perpetual process for a game this big.

As a fan, I'm personally excited for this project to be finished and hope you'll find it useful, too. Email me for an advance copy once it's finished, or if you're interested in testing and error reporting.
